Who triumphed in MotoGP?

Despite starting from the third position and facing the unexpected fall of Alex Marquez, Marc Marquez secured yet another victory! On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Sprint Race for the Catalonia Grand Prix took place in Barcelona. As anticipated, Marc Marquez added another win to his impressive record. Fabio Quartararo finished in a commendable second place, closely followed by Di Giannantonio.

The race also saw Pedro Acosta, Bastianini, Binder, Zarco, Luca Marini, and Ai Ogura earn points in this session. Francesco Bagnaia, who began the race in 21st position, managed to cross the finish line in a rather subdued 14th place, continuing to face challenges this season as a Ducati rider. Alex Marquez was leading the race when he unfortunately crashed with just four laps remaining!

In the championship standings, following the Sprint Race results, Marc Marquez holds the top spot with 467 points. Alex Marquez follows with 280 points, and Bagnaia rounds out the top three with 228 points. You can find the complete standings here!
