MotoGP – Indonesia Grand Prix – Schedule – 2025

Is there a MotoGP race coming up? Absolutely! Following the recent event in Japan, this weekend (October 2-5, 2025), we have the Indonesia Grand Prix, marking the 18th round of the 2025 MotoGP season. The races are scheduled to start at 4:00 AM on Saturday for the Sprint Race and 4:00 AM on Sunday for the Main Race, all times in Brasília. As usual, the coverage will be provided by ESPN and Disney+ Premium.

We are heading to the Mandalika Circuit, a track that spans 4,300 meters, featuring 17 turns (11 right and 6 left) and the longest straight measuring nearly 800 meters! Moto2 and Moto3 will also be in attendance, while MotoE returns in November 2025.

Recent Highlights from the 2025 Season

The last event of the year took place in Japan at the Motegi circuit. In the Sprint Race, Francesco Bagnaia claimed victory, with Marc Marquez and Pedro Acosta rounding out the podium. In the Main Race, Ducati celebrated another double podium, with Bagnaia securing another win. Marc Marquez finished in second place, and Joan Mir delivered an impressive performance to take third.

Championship Title Decided in Japan

With five races remaining in the season (Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Portugal, and Valencia), Marc Marquez clinched the 2025 season championship during the Japanese round. The Ducati rider amassed a total of 541 points, while Alex Marquez trails with 340 points. With 185 points still available in the upcoming races, the battle for the second place in the championship is still alive. Alex Marquez holds the best chance to secure that runner-up position, but he would need a significant turnaround to prevent the Marquez brothers from finishing first and second in the standings. Besides Alex Marquez at 340 points, Francesco Bagnaia, following his two victories in Motegi, has reached 274 points. Other contenders still mathematically in the running for the vice-championship include Marco Bezzecchi (242), Franco Morbidelli (196), Pedro Acosta (195), and Fabio Di Giannantonio (182).
